Grosil is a highly soluble source of potassium and silicon; it is used to strengthen plants by providing plant available silicon and has the advantage of low application rates.

When applied to the foliage Grosil strengthens the plant by forming a two part silicon matrix that acts as a physical barrier:

• Absorption: Grosil is absorbed into the leaf cuticle where it strengthens the plant structure
• Surface Protection: as Grosil dries on the leaf, it forms a layer of silicon crystals on the leaf surface.

For use as foliar spray and via irrigation in horticultural and broadacre farming.
